Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Woodland Hills, California. The candidate will be part of our team in the telecom industry, focusing on tasks related to Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, and General Ledger.

Responsibilities:

• Managing both the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing

• Performing bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy

• Maintaining and updating the general ledger on a consistent basis

• Preparing journal entries and assisting with the month-end close process

• Utilizing various software including NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to perform daily tasks

• Collaborating with other team members to meet financial deadlines

• Addressing and resolving any discrepancies or financial issues that may arise

• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports when required. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger operations

• Capability to prepare Journal Entries accurately

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Proficiency in using NetSuite and Oracle financial software

• Experience with QuickBooks and SAP is preferred

• Excellent analytical and numerical skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is preferred

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
