Insight Global IT Project Manager in Woonsocket, Rhode Island

Job Description

A fortune 10 Retail Pharmaceutical company is looking for an IT Project Manager to join their PMO team. In this role, you will be working across multiple engineering teams to drive the delivery of their products focused on helping people live healthier lives. As an IT Manager, you will use your management skills to lead large initiatives specifically supporting numerous retail teams. You should have the ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, have a consistent track record of delivery and excellent technical program management skills. A successful candidate will be a highly motivated, collaborative individual; motivated to achieve results in a fast-paced environment. The successful Project Manager will have the ability to deliver high quality work across time sensitive topics and be able to meet deadlines with multiple competing priorities. You should be able to engage, manage, and drive senior leaders in urgently addressing and resolving client issues. Your strong organizational and communication skills will allow you to juggle competing priorities and manage multiple activities simultaneously. Supporting the development of operational decision support tools including executive dashboards and reports. You will be coordinating multiple business stakeholders at the VP level and/or subject matter experts across multiple functional areas to immediately resolve escalated issues that impact multiple clients. You will be meeting with stakeholders, Risk Mitigation, Issue Resolution, developing KPIs and Status Reporting to senior leaders as well as financial reports.

$45/hr to $57/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

  • 6+ years experience in project management with infrastructure IT experience

  • 5+ years working with Lean- Agile methodologies in a large organization

  • 2+ years experience within a product model organization

  • Experience working in an Agile organization using Scrum, XP, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or other scaling models

  • Advanced understanding of lean-agile principles/mindset and SAFe principles/core values, including Lean UX, User Centered Design, and Design Thinking

  • Any experience/technical knowledge with linux, windows servers experience would be a plus

  • Bachelor's degree is required - PMP certification

  • CSM certification

  • CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, CCSP, CompTIA + null
