Position Summary

The Manager for the Supply Chain Continuity team is responsible for the planning and management of business continuity events and product flow impacts across the Supply Chain. This position plays a critical role in supporting the health and well-being of colleagues and customers through various actions. This person is expected to lead program and project improvements as well as think critically during an ever-changing environment. This position will be responsible for and have oversight of a direct report who works on the DC to DC transfer process, DC recovery, and other business continuity projects. As a manager they will also be responsible for talent management such as hiring/firing, training & development, and performance reviews. This work requires strong organizational and time-management skills to balance many competing priorities. The role works cross-functionally with various business units including Supply Chain, Enterprise Resiliency, CVS Retail, DC Operations, IT, Finance, Store Operations, Merchandising, and Procurement.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full-time work experience in supply chain and/or DC operations

  • 5+ years of experience leading, developing and executing strategy in a fast-paced, professional environment

  • 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects and/or teams

  • Strong time management skills, evidenced by experience being accountable to multiple deliverables on staggered deadlines

  • Strong personal integrity and judgment, evidenced by a track record of managing highly-sensitive or highly-visible business matters

  • Strong communication skills in both formal and informal writing and speech

  • Strong ability manage multiple, competing priorities with poise and determination to drive projects through to completion

  • Strong experience crafting curated messages to targeted audiences that resonates and drives action or behavioral change

  • Strong analytical skills, demonstrated by the ability to pull data, analyze it, and show the results

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Leadership experience of mentoring, training, or supporting the development of others

  • Proven track record of high performance

  • Regular and reliable attendance, with flexibility for occasional weekend or off-hour work based on disaster recovery events or other unplanned needs

  • Take on any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of full-time work experience in supply chain and/or DC operations

  • Experience with special project execution and/or contingency planning (disaster relief, modernization projects, product flow disruptions, etc.)

  • Ability to diagnose problems, seek insights, and recommend practical solutions

  • Ability to make sound and strategic business decisions in a fast-paced environment

Education

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
