Honeywell Quality Engineer II in Woonsocket, Rhode Island

As a Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our aerospace operations.

You will be based in Woonsocket, RI and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain regulatory compliance. Your expertise in aerospace quality engineering will contribute to the success of our projects and the overall growth of our business. You will report directly to our Quality Manager and work on-site in Woonsocket, RI.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on our aerospace operations by implementing and maintaining quality management systems, conducting audits, and driving corrective actions.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to ensure product quality and reliability, and you will work closely with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement will be instrumental in meeting customer expectations and delivering high-quality products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implement and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Conduct internal and supplier audits to assess compliance with quality standards

• Drive corrective actions to address non-conformances and improve quality performance

• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure product quality and reliability

• Work closely with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

MUST HAVE:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace quality engineering

• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

WE VALUE:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as aerospace engineering or related field

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification

• Experience with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality standards

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
