Job Posting Title Operations Manager Job Description Summary Manages the day-to-day operations of manufacturing facilities.Defines, monitors, and is held responsible for overall operations performance. Implements production, cost, and quality-control mechanisms.Oversees operations, ensuring that schedules and performance requirements are met and system resources are used effectively.Manages staffing, development, and performance management programs for operations staff; manages, motivates, and develops management team.Manages relationships with business, sales, and engineering; defines, delivers, and manages required service levels. Coordinates strategies, communications, and joint initiatives for facility. Job Description *Manages product and operations associate outcomes by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining associates; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures. *Achieves product and operations operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, customer-service, safety, security, and health standards; identifying and resolving problems; completing audits; identifying, developing, and implementing system improvements. *Contributes to product and operations management and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results. *Determines Plant priorities by reviewing customer orders and requirements; analyzing equipment, materials, and associate availability; coordinating schedules with sales and warehousing; issuing processing plans and schedules. *Coordinates Plant processing priorities by reviewing processing output and new requirements. *Resolves processing scheduling problems by analyzing reports; reviewing equipment, materials, and associate availability; conferring with processing management; developing solutions. *Prepares processing planning information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. *Contributes to plant and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results. *All other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Education Bachelor's degree or minimum of 7-10 years' experience within an automotive environment Solid and extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, daily operations, material handling, quality criteria, safety and human resource issues Strong knowledge of principles and practices of personal administration Strong leadership skills Strong knowledge of human resources, safety, associate relations, training and development and employment requirements Strong knowledge of business-related computer systems including Microsoft Office Suite Strong knowledge of CNC production and forging machine operation, safety and quality requirements High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others; including, but not limited to, all levels of management, associates and customers Working experience with b
