Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk Location: Worcester, MA Type: permanent, In-Office Working Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Company Overview: A dynamic and growing company located in the Worcester area is currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. This is a contract, in-office position with regular business hours. Responsibilities: Invoice Processing: Generate and process accurate and timely customer invoices. Ensure proper documentation and adherence to company billing policies. Payment Tracking: Monitor and record incoming payments. Reconcile payments with outstanding balances and resolve discrepancies. Customer Communication: Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries and outstanding balances. Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns professionally. Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions. Prepare reports on accounts receivable status as needed. Cash Application: Apply cash receipts to outstanding invoices accurately. Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper recording of financial transactions. Collections: Assist in the collection process for overdue accounts. Work closely with the Collections team to resolve outstanding issues. Financial Reporting: Provide support for financial reporting related to accounts receivable. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Qualifications: Previous experience in accounts receivable or a related field is preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
