Job Description

Purpose

Independently perform routine and non-routine testing. Performs laboratory testing within a GMP environment in support of final Bulk Product and stability, focused on ELISA and Bioassay testing. Can recognize laboratory technique or instrumental events that could impact the integrity of the test data. Writes and revises procedures with minimal guidance. Works under the general guidance of a supervisor but can effectively manage their own time to ensure completion of assigned duties.

  • Performs basic and complex test methods as written to support product/material release with minimal error. The focus of this position is ELISA and Bioassay testing.

  • Interprets experimental data for conformance with product and material specifications

  • Understands, implements and maintains GMP with respect to laboratory records, procedures, and systems in accordance with procedural requirements

  • Write and revise test methods

  • Can effectively perform a multitude of laboratory techniques for which they are trained on with minimal error

  • Make recommendations for process improvements and work the help implement within the laboratory.

  • Assist in assay troubleshooting

  • Train junior analysts on laboratory techniques in area of expertise

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Biology or equivalent science degree

  • 5-8 years of related work experience in ELISA testing and/or Bioassay testing

  • Experience in working in a GMP regulated laboratory

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.​

  • We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick), medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.​

  • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​

Salary: $71,000 - $134,500
