Job Description

Employee Responsibilities:

 

  • Technical support of bioreactor operations
  • Responsible for the execution of bench scale bioreactor processes
  • Familiar with basic laboratory techniques, including but not limited to: aseptic expansion of mammalian cell culture and routine analytical procedures on cell culture samples.
  • Have a good understanding of cell culture parameters in general (cell growth rate, cell density, viability, metabolites consumption, and waste production).
  • Responsible for daily monitoring of the bioreactor and keeping thorough record of cell culture parameters and results into data sheets and/or electronic note books.
  • Responsible for data integrity and accuracy.

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

 

  • Experience with small scale bioreactors
  • Experience with ambr250
  • Experience with media development
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organization skills. Attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, adaptable, and carry a positive attitude

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or other related degree concentration
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
