Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, cranes, loaders, and other machinery.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, using diagnostic tools and manuals to identify problems and determine necessary repairs.

• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and system checks to prevent breakdowns.

• Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems, including engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and undercarriages.

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, parts used, and hours worked on equipment.

• Ensure that equipment meets safety and regulatory standards and complies with company policies and procedures.

• Test and inspect repaired equipment to verify proper operation and performance.

• Provide technical support and guidance to equipment operators on proper equipment handling and usage.

• Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA and other relevant safety guidelines.

• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns or emergency repair needs to minimize downtime.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (vocational or technical training in heavy equipment maintenance is preferred).

• Proven experience in repairing and maintaining heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, loaders, backhoes, bulldozers, cranes).

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on heavy machinery.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
