Job Summary

Oversee and provide leadership and expertise for food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Provide vision and leadership on plant food safety and quality initiatives to establish best practices and implement programs to support as well as continuously improve product safety and quality. Guide, mentor, and develop direct reports to facilitate learning, enhance skills and knowledge, and improve performance of the plant food safety and quality team. Partner with plant and corporate leadership teams to evaluate and continuously improve the facility’s food safety culture and trademark quality.

What you need to be considered for the role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or other related field required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Five (5) or more years related experience required.

  • SQF Practitioner/Implementation Experience (or similar GFSI scheme)

  • HACCP Certification

  • PCQI Certification (Human Food)

    Preferred:

  • Food and dairy industry experience preferred.

  • ASQ Certified Quality Manager designation a plus

  • Root Cause Analysis Training preferred

  • Six Sigma Training preferred
