Build a Career in Food Safety: The Food Safety & Quality Assurance Intern will spend their time with the Corporate Food Safety and Quality Assurance team gaining exposure and experience in multiple facets of food safety & quality assurance within corporate, distribution, retail/wholesale, and private brand management. This combined activity will provide an individual with a great working knowledge of food safety & quality assurance within the foodservice distribution and retail / wholesale industry. In addition to the impactful work you will complete within your department, you will:

Assist with projects tied to Gordon Food Service's strategic initiatives.

Gain knowledge of the business, workplace etiquette and business communication.

Work 1 on 1 with a Talent Acquisition Specialist to revamp your resume.

Work on cross functional teams to present impactful business solutions to senior leadership.

Build the Future by: Being an intern at Gordon Food Service, North America's largest family-owned broadline food service distributor.

Meeting the following qualifications to be considered for our 2024 internship program:

Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor degree in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science and/or related field

Incoming Junior or Senior status as of May 2024 (Minimum of 56 credit hours)

Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

Must be authorized to work in the US.
