Gordon Food Service Intermediate Network Administrator in Wyoming, Michigan

The Intermediate Network Administrator installs, maintains, and administers Gordon Food Service network facilities and services. Performs 2nd and 3r3rd-level support in all areas that the Network domain exists and communicates effectively to and with all other groups that are impacted or that impact offered Network services.

What you will do:

Assists Senior Network Administrator to conducts WAN and LAN design and configuration.

Troubleshoot issues within the WAN and LAN

Aids in performing new WAN circuit ordering and provisioning.

Assists in firewall design, administration and support.

Assists in performing RF design and maintenance.

Assists with authentication services administration and troubleshooting.

Utilizes and maintains network monitoring applications.

Performs network technical consulting in conjunction with the engineering process.

Documents all changes to the network environment.

Develop and maintains hardware and procedural standards for all facets of the network environment.

Maintains thorough knowledge of software and firmware revisions for all products controlled by the network domain.

Participates in the team's on-call rotation schedule (typically 1 week, every 4 weeks)

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What you'll bring to the table:

One to three years previous network administration and/or network support experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field required.
