Vail Resorts Sales Operations Project Manager in Wyoming

Job Summary:
As a Project Manager you will play a crucial role in greatly supporting the function of the greater sales organization. You will be instrumental in exceeding team goals, fostering self-development, and promoting cross-functional collaboration. To be successful in this role you will need to gain a deep understanding of Group Sales, Service & Travel Partner Distribution processes and systems, have the ability to identify inefficiencies, gaps or incompatibilities and know how to work with your stakeholders to create project specifications and effectively execute projects. The ideal candidate will exhibit agility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to change, entrepreneurial thinking, initiative, and a solid team-oriented mindset.
Strong project management and systems mindset and able to quickly review and collaborate with business stakeholders articulating the business story to senior management. Research, analyze, recommend and collaboratively develop systems and processes for the Vail Resorts Sales Enterprise.
Key Skillsets:
End to end responsibility for project management life cycle from requirements specification to deployment, along with issue and risk management
Strong prioritization skills
Strong collaboration skills
Manage multiple levels of stakeholders through alignment, measurement of success criteria, project updates, identification and articulation of risks and opportunities
Public speaking skillset; ability to conduct regular and as-needed training and support for the sales enterprise as it relates to system upgrades, implementations and/or procedural changes
Ability to think critically in establishing and maintaining SOPS
Executive presence with strong storytelling capabilities able to interface regularly with senior management while supporting the direction of the business
Lead the support in updates and creation of document templates, contractual clauses, and overall setup as a property administrator in Delphi.FDC
Ability to work with or learn additional systems basics to analyze integration/compilation of data
Maintains professional and technical knowledge of sales and service operations and processes
Contribute to the health and strength of a dynamic team culture
Demonstrate a passion for Vail Resorts employee experience, culture, mission and vision and inspire others to follow
Support the Director of Sales Operations with other projects and duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
What we are looking for:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Work Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
Experience with Sendsites, Social Tables/CVENT, Delphi.FDC, Conga preferred.
College Degree Preferred.
Proven success in a similar role and environment.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to consistently manage multiple priorities.
Able to influence and work with a wide variety of stakeholders.
Pride and attention to detail.
The expected Total Compensation for this role is $55,000 - $92,000. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
