The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the development and management of the daily operation of the residential Greene Leaf Program drug treatment program within the Greene County Jail facilities as a sentencing option for eligible, sentenced, male and female clients as a condition of Community Control. As an employee of the Greene County Common Pleas Court, and under the supervision of the Deputy Director and Director of the Adult Probation Department, the Clinical Coordinator provides and directs a highly-structured, clinically-sound, meaningful, residential drug treatment program as a viable sentencing option for the Common Pleas Judges. The Clinical Coordinator, with the assistance of the assigned Probation Officer and local agencies, oversees the aftercare treatment and the probation supervision of the successful Greene Leaf graduates. The Clinical Coordinator directly supervises assigned staff and offenders; develops, obtains, and manages grant funding; ensures the program adheres to all state and federal treatment standards and grant guidelines; coordinates and maintains a positive working relationship with elected officials, local and state agencies, and the local community; works closely and harmoniously with the Greene County Sheriff, the Sheriff's Office, and the Adult Probation Staff; implements and enforces the directives of the Common Pleas Judges, the Deputy Director and Director of the Adult Probation Department.   The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation of clinical services including, but not limited to, chemical dependency, mental health, and family counseling, within a residential substance abuse program for sentenced adult offenders incarcerated in a jail environment. The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of programming, individual caseload management, individual and group treatment session facilitation, frequent and consistent treatment team facilitation and ensuring continuous quality improvement of clinical services. Normal working hours: Monday - Friday 7:30-4:00 P.M, with half hour lunch. 

 

Duties/Responsibilities

*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: *

Develops and administers policies and procedures for a comprehensive drug treatment program.

Supervises the recruitment, selection, and hiring of qualified personnel.

Determines training requirements and performance standards for all assigned staff members.

Clarifies directives of Greene County, Common Pleas Judges, Deputy Director and Director of the Adult Probation Department.

Prioritizes client needs based on program mission and budget.

Evaluates organizational/program effectiveness on an on-going basis and makes adjustment as necessary.
