This role is eligible for annual bonus and annual merit increase. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors. How You'll Perform the Role The Sales Representative is responsible for driving profitable sales growth with Industrial Packaging existing accounts while developing new business to expand Novolex Shields customer base. This is a position, primarily based in our Yakima, WA plant, selling to distributors and direct to end-user. The position reports directly to the Sales Director, Shields. Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory to generate new business for the company's products and services Develops and builds accounts within the capabilities of the business assets Makes telephone/virtual calls, in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers Develops clear and effective written proposals and quotations for current and prospective customers Drives the resolution of customer problems and complaints Analyzes the territory's potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers' value to the company Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services What We Need From You Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field 2+ years in territory development and account management in the packaging industry Outstanding prospecting and closing skills is a must Technical and conceptual understanding of flexible films and film applications Working knowledge of film extrusion, bag making, converting, process printing Ability to travel up to 35% when needed Customer focus and good people skills Computer expertise in Microsoft Office, Experience with Salesforce.com CRM and LinkedIn (Sales Navigator) High level of drive and ambition for professional growth What You'll Get From Us Benefits With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance (including Telehealth options) as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
