Position Highlights:

  • Student Loan Repayment: This RN position may be eligible for Avera’s Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster.

    Job Summary

  • The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care and performs nursing treatments in accordance with registered nurse standard nursing practice for patients receiving treatment for end stage renal disease and associated conditions.

    Education and/or Experience

  • Graduate of a registered nursing education program .

    Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Dakota or multistate licensure in a compact state.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire.

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within six months of hire

  • FCCS and TNCC/TCAR within 12 months orientation to ICU or ED

  • PALS within 6 months orienatation to Women's Center

    Work Schedule

  • Rotating shifts, 4:30am-5:00pm/5:00am-3:30pm; 72 hours every 2 weeks

  • Every third Saturday, Sundays off, two holidays per year

    Pay

    The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  • $31.00 - $46.50 per hour
