The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is hiring a Quality Assurance Central Region Supervisor (Motor Vehicle Program Supervisor 1) for the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will oversee the vehicle inspection division, field operations section central region, managing the daily activities of quality assurance officers and ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations. You will handle calls from your chain of command, support audits, and provide guidance to maintain compliance. Additionally, you will conduct investigations and audits within your assigned region to ensure safety and program adherence.

Your responsibilities include coordinating joint audits and investigations with various agencies, reviewing and approving field reports for completeness, and evaluating case summaries before submission. You will prioritize quality assurance officer caseloads to meet audit requirements and ensure proper notification of violations to stations and inspectors. Your role is crucial in upholding safety standards and program integrity.

In summary, your duties involve supervising operations, overseeing compliance with laws and regulations, conducting investigations and audits, and coordinating with other agencies. You play a key role in maintaining safety standards, ensuring program adherence, and upholding due process in handling violations. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. This position may require overtime, including some weekends. This position will cover the Central region which consists of Bradford, Tioga, Potter, McKean, Warren, Crawford, Lawrence, Butler, Venango, Forest, Clarion, Armstrong, Indiana, Jefferson, Elk, Clearfield, Fayette, and Green counties. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Two years of experience in line management or administrative staff work in a public or private organization; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four-year college or university; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: This position requires possession of a valid driver's license. You must be able to perform essential job functions. How to Apply:
