Bus Operators utilize safe driving techniques and defensive driving skills while transporting Providing professional customer service to the public, obeying local, state, and federal transit regulations as well as obeying all vehicle and traffic laws.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: . Responsible for transporting passengers safely following predetermined routes and detours Ensures proper pick up and drop off passengers at designated bus stops.

. Adheres to all local, state, and federal rules and regulations.

. Responsible for informing the Company regarding road occurrences within a timely manner.

. Responsible for proper documentation of faulty equipment during the utilization of assigned vehicle.

MAJOR SKLLLS NEEDED TO PERFORM JOB:

1. Ability to climb stairs, reach above shoulder level, walk extended distance, stand, kneel, sit in a sedentary position for an undefined amount of time.

2. Ability to secure a wheelchair.

3. Ability to work in an environment with dust, fumes, exhaust, various noise levels, various temperatures, indoor and outdoor weather conditions for an undefined amount of time.

4. Ability to comprehend, read, write, and converse in English.
