Job Description
BAE Systems, Inc. is currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Analyst to join the Bradley A4 Production Team.
Responsibilities:
Serving as a full business partner to the program teams
Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate program financial analysis for all programs within the assigned program area
Handle external/internal reporting, proposal support, leading program Estimates at Complete (EACs), managing cash flow, supporting quarterly business reviews, and leading the integrated business plan for assigned programs.
Develop relationships as a full business partner with the program teams, support the business area strategy and provide financial data and analysis for decision-making.
Supporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting requirements both internally and externally
Developing financial forecasts and analyzing estimates at completion
Reporting & presenting financials to management.
Working with the contracts department for funding, billings, and other contractual items
Developing and monitoring program risks and opportunities
Leading the coordination of team meetings and reviews
Complete proposal support through pricing basis of estimates, compiling cost volumes, and preparing request for bid approvals (RBA); participating in fact-finding, statements of position, and negotiations.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor s degree in finance or accounting or related field with 2 years of finance/accounting experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel)
Demonstrates problem solving and in-depth analytical skills.
Demonstrates ability to communicate and present financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner.
Strong interpersonal skills to influence diverse work teams.
Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures and procedures.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience with Hyperion planning and Smart View add-in, Oracle, ProPricer a plus.
Experience with proposals.
Experience with project forecasting and analysis, particularly in a US Defense environment.
Experience in program finance and/or other finance functional disciplines.
Understanding and knowledge industry practices and standards as well as company policies.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $58300 - $99100
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
