Production Supervisor (Press Operator Department)

Job Description

We are seeking to hire two Pressing Supervisors, one for our 2nd shift and another for our 3rd shift. The successful candidates will oversee the daily operations of their respective shifts within the Pressing Department. Key responsibilities include ensuring a safe work environment, overseeing production schedules, monitoring production quality, delegating staffing duties, conducting trainings, managing payroll, implementing 6S/Lean practices, and leading RCA investigations for quality and safety incidents.

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in York, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

2nd shift: 2 PM-10 PM, Monday-Friday; 3rd shift: 10 PM-6 AM, works every other weekend with a fixed schedule allowing for planning throughout the year. Days off during the week when a weekend shift is required. Work conditions can be hot, dirty, and involve both outdoor and indoor settings with exposure to varying temperatures and conditions such as heat, cold, and dust.
