    Position Summary

The CRR Therapist will provide effective therapy to children, adolescents, families and/or individual adults in office, home/community and school settings. Individual will work closely with Program Supervisor and Psychiatry Department. The therapist also assists with general quality assurance responsibilities for program treatment services.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and family therapy in a culturally sensitive manner with adherence to professional Code of Ethics

  • Assess for the appropriate level of clinical care and refer as necessary.

  • Conduct comprehensive bio psychosocial evaluations of all clients during the initial treatment phase

  • Facilitate or assist in facilitating groups as per program needs.

  • Regularly assess the status of treatment and make necessary adjustments in the treatment plan.

  • Consult with other professionals (i.e. psychiatrists, case managers, PCP, etc) as clinically indicated.

  • Know and comply with all state Mental Health regulations

  • Participate in regularly scheduled in-service training as requested.

  • Assure the implementation of best practice standards as developed by the service lines.

  • Provide documentation that is in compliance with program procedures, State, licensing, and Medicaid regulations

    Qualifications

  • Clearances. State Police; FBI clearance; child abuse clearance; CPSL Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training; any additional background checks/clearances required by state governing bodies.

  • Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.

  • Physical Demands: Requires vision, speech, and hearing.

  • Working Hours: A non-traditional work schedule as defined by service needs.

Qualifications

Education

Required

  • Masters or better in Human Services

Licenses & Certifications

Preferred

  • LPC

Experience

Required

  • a. Minimum of one (1) year working with children and/or adults and families. b. Expertise in developmental and emotional needs of children and/or adults and families c. Knowledge of community resources and referral procedures
