YOUNGSTOWN STATE UNIVERSITY (OH) Established Date: May 1, 2024 Revision Date: May 1, 2024 SALARY RANGE $44,500.00 - $48,000.00 Annually SUMMARY OF POSITION: The YSU Department of Psychological Sc1ences & Counseling is seeking a candidate for a full-time faculty Lecturer position in the Psychology Program. This program offers a BA 1n Psychology with over 300 majors. The position is a 9-month, renewable, non-tenure track appointment with the expectation of teaching 15 hours per semester (5 undergraduate level psychology courses) during each Fall and Spring semester. POSITION INFORMATION: Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university off1cials via university provided tools and resources. QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES: Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures: None Minimum Qualifications: At least an earned master's degree in psychology or another related area (e.g. counseling, school psychology). Ability to teach a variety of courses in the program including own specialty area. Prior teaching experience in a variety of modalities and class formats including on-line asynchronous classes.
