Position Summary

As a Packing Operator, you will be responsible for using good manufacturing practices to ensure the quality and quantity of sealed finished product pouches packed into cartons or club packs.

This position will be scheduled for 2nd or 3rd shift Monday through Friday in addition to every other weekend. This position is an excellent step to growing your career with Nestle Purina. Primary Responsibilities:

• Must be willing to work evening/night shift

• Maintain a high level of understanding of best practices for packing finished product.

• Insert pet food pouches into cartons.

• Operate the control panel to match pouch flow to carton speed.

• Perform quality checks.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Rotate between all packing and clean-up positions within department.

• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Experience: Experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military, or related environment preferred
